Lake Louise, part one

For those of you who have experienced Lake Louise, you know what I'm talking about when I say that, even though it is a place filled with tourism, it is still not to be missed. You just can't beat the scenery, the magnificent flowers, the opportunities to do things like go canoeing, or simply walking. And besides that, they've got a great deli, where you can get world class sandwiches, and to take them out with you as you do those things that you want to do... well, it's really too much for one posting. So, there's more to come.

  1. Lovely pictures. That's one thing that's done better in the western world. They take good care of the places which attract tourists and promote them. Sadly, I have found this to be somewhat lacking in India.

  2. This lake with turquoise water is like a dream world, you could feast your eyes on it for hours. You've shown great skill at shooting landscapes. Excellent work, as usual.

  3. Thanks for stopping buy and commenting. Actually, Stella, that is precisely what I did while I was at Lake Louise. I spent an inordinate amount of time just visually feasting on the lake.

  4. Gorgeous photos! I was there in Spring and the lake was frozen. I walked on it! My photos show Lake Louise in a whole different light. I really want to get back there in Summer so I can see it in all its turquoise glory. :)
