Something Old, For good times' sake

Now, while I'm busy with my next project, I thought that I'd give you some oldies, taken with my predigital camera (see the last photo) from our very first trip to Alaska (and Canada). Even though they may not be as photographically quite as sophisticated as my later ones, there's still something to be said for them, and it is the reason we went back.

  1. I love the waterfall and the garden. A balm for a sore soul.

  2. Unfortunately, Stella, the photo of the group performing celtic music (in Butchert Gardens, in Victoria) does not capture the music that was being played, you just have to imagine it...

  5. Well, you're both right. It's simply that we haven't decided where to go this year - perhaps the mountains of Colorado, perhaps back to Costa Rica, perhaps to Nova Scotia. I'll let you know of our travel plans.

  7. Yes, Alex. That's my wife and me at the falls (and it obviously was not taken by me). Having a really good time.
