Muir Woods, Part One

Now this next collection is from our stop at Muir Woods National Monument, and is part one (of two). It is one of those must-see places when going to San Francisco, as it is about a half hour out of the city.
Now, the temptation is to always look up while you're there, but down below are some equally amazing sights.
But, before we leave this place, it's still best to look up again.

  1. Sequoias are indeed the most majestic living creatures on earth! Marvellous shots, as usual. I especially love the fact that you didn't discriminate the small plants at the feet of giants.

    1. That was my point, precisely. There are so many wonders in nature - some obvious and huge, but some are down at your feet, and are also majestic!

  2. I missed it during my last trip when I was there for a weekend. Seems like a lovely place.

    1. If you stop to see it once, I promise you'll be back again. It's that special.
