What really sets the West Coast apart from the rest of the country is Highway 1. We left the gentle confines of wine country, and drove down Highway 1, from near the Oregon line down toward San Francisco.
You can see a bit of the highway on the photo above, and you can imagine what views await.
What you have is a superb set of photos just waiting to be taken and enjoyed!
Incredible shots. I have never seen the American west coast but this is certainly an inspiration. My favorite I think is shot 5 which seems to be overlooking small rows of cottage-like structures...it gives me a feeling of such inner peace.
ReplyDeleteActually, Diego, that is some kind of retreat - sure beats the usual boy scout camps in the Midwest. And I would definitely put a drive along Highway 1 down as something to do.
DeleteTo me the most beautiful places are where the ocean meets land and nature is at large. There's one word for these pictures: breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stella. And for me there's one more word of description - unforgettable!
DeleteBeautiful collection of shots! The first picture is how I remember the West Coast. I was actually surprised to note the Pacific Ocean not so pacific along the coastline.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I've been unable to respond until now. And yes, the Pacific Ocean is typically quite adventurous whenever I've seen it as well.
DeleteThis is one of the routes I would like to drive the most, very beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteIt is truly worth the drive. Even if you see little else, it will remain with you for life.
DeleteThese are gorgeous. You know what I need for birthday/Xmas gifts. Just photos like this. :)
