Well, since you have voted on the pictures from Costa Rica, I thought that you should get a chance to similarly pick your favorites from Alaska. Some of these you have seen before on my blog, but there are a couple of ones that I've been holding out on. Another difficult choice! I know from experience how difficult some of those images are to capture - the bird mid-flight, for example - and the ice crashing into the water. However, after much consideration I have decided on:
