This week's post is sort of a fun, hodge-podge of various pictures that caught my eye. Photo number one is from many years ago, but still manages to grab my eye. Photo number two is from our trip to India, and if the orange clothing doesn't get you, I'll bet his stare does. Photo number three is actually of a painting I did for one of my kids, and is a scene I remembered from Costa Rica, and the painting, more than the photograph, really gives the feeling of being out there, in the jungle. Closer to home is photo number four, which is of some of our columbines in spring, and it tells of what is to come. And lastly, photo number five is from Cape Cod, and I think is says so much more than words can. Enjoy!
You do paint very well. Lovely collection of pictures. The last picture makes me wish for the beach.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ramakant. You know, my painting actually began before my photography. It was in India, in the village where I grew up - I hung out with the local painter, and picked up stuff from him.
DeleteYou know, to my eye there's one word that defines the common feature of all these pictures: Colourful!
ReplyDeleteYes, and every one expresses a completely different color scheme.
