Now it's winter in Oklahoma, the beginning of February, and I was just thinking that I would really like to be someplace warm and green right about now. The above photographs are just a sample of weather about this time of year in another country - namely Costa Rica. As I look out on our brown and cold landscape, and have no plans to go anywhere just for the moment - somewhere, people are enjoying their beautiful green country!
Tropics is probably the closest thing to paradise we can find in this world.

DeleteI know how you feel, well, at least over here it's always green since most plants are evergreen (many are native to tropical regions) and some flower in winter. Actually, this winter has been quite warm so far (touch wood), although cold spells aren't unusual in February or March, and I already saw swallows in January (I wonder if it's the ones who chose not to migrate or the ones that already came back ;)
