For your enjoyment, some of the wild life on the rivers of Costa Rica. The first is a Tiger Heron, the second is a Lesser Grey Heron, the third a Green Heron, and the fourth a Sand Crane.
I think you may have misidentified these birds, I am not sure about the first one it maybe right but the next one is a Yellow-Crowned Night Heron (Nycticorax violaceus),next is a Green Heron (Butorides striatus) and last is a Snowy Egret (Egetta thula) the yellow feet help ID this bird.Sandhill cranes are grey. all very good photos.
Thanks for that. i was going by what our guide was telling us, and didn't really check them out, and I didn't have a proper reference. Again many thanks!
