Two Examples of Muslim Architecture in India

These are two examples of major Muslim sites in India. The first is the great Mosque in Delhi (old Delhi), which is still obviously being used. The second is from from Humayan's tomb, which is just an elaborate graveyard for famously wealthy, thoroughly dead, Muslim kings.

Well, I'm back. The trip to India was, as my wife said, an "eye opener." I'll have a lot more photos for you, but we'll start with these three. The first is obvious - the Taj Mahal, the second is a monkey on the grounds of the Taj. The third is the great Qtub Minar, a truly ancient structure in Delhi.

My Wife and I are "setting sail" for India tomorrow morning. I'll be gone for a week and a half, so my posting may be hit and miss, or nothing at all.
